In British Columbia, Registered Massage Therapists complete one of the most rigorous healthcare education programs in the country. This includes 2,200+ hours of post-secondary training, in-depth study of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and clinical assessment, as well as extensive hands-on practicum experience. RMTs must also pass comprehensive provincial board examinations and maintain ongoing continuing education to uphold the highest professional standards.

It’s important to note that our ICBC direct billing service is a courtesy service and not a guarantee that all direct billings will be approved or paid by ICBC. It is the patients responsibility to pay for all unpaid treatments by ICBC should direct billing problems occur. Patients will be able to collect these payments directly from their ICBC adjuster.

Not all Practitioners are able to accommodate ICBC appointments. Please contact us directly to ensure you are booked with a Practitioner who can provide direct billing to ICBC. Please keep in mind, available appointments are limited and we are only able to accommodate a certain number of ICBC patients to ensure you are receiving the appropriate care within an appropriate time frame.

Mobile Registered Massage Therapy treatments are available for existing patients of MICRO MVMT ONLY. If you are a new patient, a free 15-minute consultation call is required prior to booking your first mobile massage treatment. This consultation is required for screening, essential to assess your needs and ensure the treatment is suitable for you.

By booking a mobile treatment, you acknowledge that you meet the criteria above and understand that any first-time treatments will only proceed after the consultation call has been completed.

Our non-registered therapist are Student Intern(s) and/or individuals who have progressed through various stages of an accredited Registered Massage Therapy training program in British Columbia or are licensed in other regions. They use technique involving physical touch, Swedish massage techniques, and passive movement for the improvement or restoration of health. They provide Relaxation Massages for 60 minutes.

Note that services provided by our Student Interns) are not billable as 'Registered Massage Therapy' to any health insurance provider.

ICBC/ WorkSafe BC Treatment and Pregnancy Massages are unavailable with this service. Please DO NOT book with our Student Intern(s) if you have an open claim or if there is a possibility of pregnancy.
