VIRTUAL Clinical Counselling Connect With a Registered Clinical Counsellor From Wherever You Feel Most Comfortable.
**Connect with a Registered Clinical Counsellor from a private space that feels comfortable and convenient for you.**
Virtual counselling offers a flexible and accessible way to make space for your mental and emotional well-being without the added time of travelling to the clinic. Through secure video appointments, you can connect with your counsellor from home or another private location anywhere in British Columbia.
Our Registered Clinical Counsellors provide warm, collaborative, and evidence-informed care tailored to your individual experiences, needs, and goals. Counselling may be helpful if you are navigating anxiety, stress, low mood, relationships, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem, family concerns, pregnancy and parenthood, fertility and reproductive health, or simply looking for a space to better understand yourself and what you are experiencing.
Depending on your needs and the counsellor you choose, virtual counselling may be available for individuals, couples, families, and youth.
There is no expectation that you arrive knowing exactly what to say or where to begin. Your counsellor will work collaboratively with you to understand what is bringing you to counselling and explore an approach that feels meaningful, practical, and appropriate for you.
Before Your Virtual Appointment
Please plan to attend your appointment from a private, quiet space within British Columbia where you feel comfortable speaking openly and are unlikely to be interrupted. A reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone are recommended.
Your secure virtual appointment link and appointment details will be provided through Jane. No in-person clinic visit is required for virtual appointments.
Extended Health Benefits & Direct Billing
Registered Clinical Counselling may be included under some extended health benefit plans; however, coverage varies between insurers and individual policies. We recommend confirming your eligibility and coverage directly with your insurance provider before your appointment.
Direct billing is available for select insurance providers and plans and is not guaranteed. Patients remain responsible for the full cost of their appointment and for any balance, co-payment, denied claim, or amount not covered by their insurer.
Not Sure Where to Begin?
If you are new to counselling or would like to meet your counsellor before scheduling a full appointment, consider booking a complimentary 15-minute virtual consultation.
This brief conversation gives you an opportunity to ask questions, share a little about what brings you to counselling, and get a sense of whether the counsellor and their approach feel like the right fit for you.
Virtual Registered Clinical Counselling is available to clients throughout British Columbia.
